Stennis Emerging Congressional Staff Leaders hear leadership lessons from former US Senator John Warner.

Former U.S. Senator John Warner met with Stennis Emerging Congressional Staff Leaders from the 114th Congress to share leadership lessons from his 30-year career as a United States Senator from Virginia.  The session, hosted by the Pew Charitable Trusts, focused on how those insights can be applied to challenges facing Congress now, and in the future.  Stennis Emerging Staff Leaders are staff members who have been on Capitol Hill 3-5 years and have been recognized among their peers as leaders with a commitment to strengthening Congress as an institution of American democracy.
