Emerging Congressional Staff Leaders Program
The Emerging Leaders program is a mentoring program whose purpose is to provide personal encouragement and guidance from veteran congressional staff to younger staff who have demonstrated significant leadership potential during the early stages of their careers on Capitol Hill. Learn more »

The Congress to Campus program sends bipartisan pairs of former Members of Congress – one Democrat and one Republican – to visit college campuses around the country. Learn more »

Truman Scholars Day on Capitol Hill
This program continues a partnership with the Harry S. Truman Scholarship Foundation that dates back to 1991. It brings together Truman Scholars for an inside view of how Congress works, highlighted by personal visits with Stennis Fellows. Learn more »
Women's Political Leadership Programs
The Stennis Center organized and presented the Southern Women in Public Service conference from 1991 to 2007. In 2008, the Stennis Center transitioned to the Summit of Southern Women Leaders.

Civil-Military Leadership Program
The Stennis Center has developed a number of interactive programs aimed at bringing civilian leaders into contact with the military. The purpose is to enhance the understanding of civilian leaders regarding military life, values, culture and institutions.
Aircraft Carrier Programs
