Beginning with the commissioning of the USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74) in 1995, the Stennis Center has worked with America's aircraft carriers to develop a number of leadership development programs.
USS JOHN C. STENNIS Family Scholarship Program
This scholarship is available to children and spouses of current or former crewmembers of the USS STENNIS.
Connecting Carriers and Congress -- PCO Program
The primary purpose of this program is to bring prospective commanding officers (PCOs) and Members of Congress together to enhance civil-military relationships.
Leadership Award Programs
The Stennis Center partners with eight aircraft carriers to recognize some of the men and women who demonstrate outstanding public service leadership.
