Elizabeth Stanley

An Auburn University alumna, Elizabeth worked for a congressional campaign in Alabama before she came to Capitol Hill as a scheduler and executive assistant for U.S. Senator Charles Schumer.  She left Schumer’s office to serve as communication director in Ron Klink’s U.S. Senate campaign.  After the election, Elizabeth began her tenure with U.S. Representative Nita Lowey as communication director and left the office to work as a regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in 2004.  Upon her return to Representative Lowey’s office in 2005, she assumed her current post as chief of staff directing all aspects of the congressional office including legislative, communication, political and outreach strategies.  Elizabeth was a Stennis Fellow in the 111th Congress.
