Eva Z. Lam

Eva Z. Lam, from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was named a 2009 Rhodes Scholar from Harvard University. She was the 2005 Most Outstanding Representative and the 2006 Most Outstanding Senator in the Stennis Student Congress - the only student ever to win both awards. Lam graduated from Harvard in 2010 with a degree in social studies. She was president of the Harvard College Democrats and worked at Harvard and in New Hampshire on the Obama campaign. She is committed to education reform, her thesis was on cultural competency training in Teach for America, and she is certified to teach high school history. Eva also has a black belt in taekwondo. At Oxford, she is currently pursuing master's degrees in comparative and international education.
