ABH1 (SW) Brian L. Turner

ABH1 (SW) Brian L. Turner was honored with the USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN's "Liberty" Leadership Award. Turner was born March 29, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Tinley Park High School in 1999 and immediately enlisted in the US Navy. After basic training, ABH1 Turner reported onboard the Golden Eagle USS CARL VINSON and worked as a Blue shirt and advanced to a Yellow shirt as the Fly 3 P.O. Upon completion of a four and a half year tour, he reported to NAS PAX River and advanced to petty officer second class upon arrival. He made a big impact by stepping in and taking over T-line supervisor and the LPO position. He then left for the West Coast in 2007 and reported for duty on the historical USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN. ABH1 Turner advanced to First class within the first sixth months of his arrival and holds assistant LPO position of the brave Crash and Salvage team. He is happily married to Amber Turner who also served proudly for six years onboard the USS CARL VINSON, USS COLE, and Comdesron Two. They reside in Bothell, Washington.
