Bradley E. Johanson Scholarship Program for USS JOHN C. STENNIS Families

Why Give?
One of the rewards of supporting the JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN-74) Family Scholarships is the opportunity to recognize individuals who are interested and willing to dedicate themselves to public service. You also reward those crewmembers who have demonstrated the integrity, courage, commitment to duty and hard work that were the principles that marked the life and career of John C. Stennis.

How to Give
Outright gifts generate the most immediate return from your contribution to the JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN-74) Family Scholarships. Outright gifts also qualify for the greatest tax benefit and savings, which significantly reduce the actual cost of making a gift. The Stennis Center for Public Service's Federal Tax Identification number is 44-0553234F.

Credit card gifts can be made by contacting Anita Dean at 662-325-8409. Checks can be made out to the Stennis Center for Public Service and mailed to:

Family Support Group
The USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) Family Support Group is comprised of family members of the John C. Stennis crewmembers. Their role is to provide mutual support and understanding among family members who often face difficult situations when sailors go to sea for extended periods of time.

The applicant must be a child or spouse of a current or former JOHN C. STENNIS crewmember and have applied to an accredited two-year or four-year institution for undergraduate study in a course of instruction leading to a degree.
