Ronald A. Sarasin

Ronald A. Sarasin is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the United States Capitol Historical Society, a non-profit, non-partisan, educational entity chartered by Congress to enhance and perpetuate the history and heritage of the Capitol, its institutions and the individuals who have served there.

Before becoming President of USCHS on January 1, 2000, Ron Sarasin served for a decade as President and CEO of the National Beer Wholesalers Association. He also was Director of Government Affairs at the National Restaurant Association.

Prior to becoming involved with associations, he served three terms as a member of Congress, representing the Fifth District of Connecticut until 1978, when he ran unsuccessfully for Governor. Before that, he was a two term Representative in the Connecticut General Assembly and a practicing attorney.

Sarasin is a US Navy veteran and received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut and a J.D. degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
